This report provides members of the Scottish Police Authority Resources Committee with an overview of present the draft Annual Procurement Report for financial year 2024-25, prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014, and seeks approval to publish the report publicly. LEGAL IMPLICATIONS
If the SPA does not approve the annual procurement report for publishing it will not comply with its’ statutory duty to publish such report.
REPUTATIONAL IMPLICATIONS
If the SPA does not approve the annual procurement report for publishing it will not comply with its’ statutory duty to publish such report. The publishing of reports is monitored by the Scottish Government Procurement and Commercial Directorate and non-compliance investigated.
