Andrew Richmond

Andrew Richmond joined the Board of the Scottish Police Authority in January 2026.

He has extensive non-executive experience in finance, audit, risk, strategy and governance.

After a degree in economics and accounting at the University of Edinburgh and an executive career as a UK equities analyst in the City of London, he has sat on a wide range of boards in the public, private and not for profit sectors.

He has been deputy chair of the Scottish Ambulance Service and also chair of Hub North Scotland, the community, infrastructure procurement specialist. He currently chairs Greensleeves Care, a charitable care home provider, and is also vice chair of Sue Ryder, the palliative care and bereavement support charity.
