Our Three-Year Business Plan documents the work we will do over the first three years of activity as we progress towards achieving our vision. We have already reported on the Year one milestones to the SPA as part of the 2024/25 Bi-Annual Report and the Chief Constable’s Assessment of Policing Performance 2024/25 with some milestones carried forward into year two.
For year two, the Force Executive agreed that we will report internally on a quarterly basis whilst continuing to report to the SPA on a bi-annual basis. This report provides an update on the position of the relevant milestones at the end of Quarter 2 2025/26.
This Bi-Annual Report reflects progress against year two of our Three-Year Business Plan, as well as progress with activities carried forward from year one. The report also incorporates relevant activities outlined in our Annual Police Plan 2025/26, alongside the activity carried forward from the Annual Police Plan 2024/25.
In order to provide milestone updates, a list of key deliverables was devised under each milestone. Key deliverable updates are not expected every quarter. This bi-annual progress report reflects that, detailing updates received in Quarter 1 and Quarter 2 and signposting updates that are not expected until Quarter 3 and Quarter 4 of this reporting year.
Summary of carried forward Year One Milestones RPAG Status (as at Quarter 2 2025/26) including the Annual Police Plan 2024/25 activity:
Red – key deliverable is not progressing and not on target for completion during 2025/26:- 2 milestones (10.5%);
Purple – Key deliverable is underway but not on track for completion during 2025/26:- 8 milestones (42.1%);
Amber – Key deliverable is underway and on track for completion during 2025/26:- 9 milestones (47.4%);
Green - Key deliverable is complete and now undertaken as business as usual:- 0 milestones (0.0%).
Summary of Year Two Milestones RPAG Status (as at Quarter 2 2025/26) including the Annual Police Plan 2025/26 activity:
Red – key deliverable is not progressing and not on target for completion during 2025/26:- 1 milestone (1.8%);
Purple – Key deliverable is underway but not on track for completion during 2025/26:- 11 milestones (20.0%);
Amber – Key deliverable is underway and on track for completion during 2025/26:- 38 milestones (69.1%);
Green - Key deliverable is complete and now undertaken as business as usual:- 5 milestones (9.1%)..
