Alignment to risk register and risk appetite
Aligns to risk register in terms of supporting the Long-Term Sustainable Model for Forensic Services.
Increasing drug-wipe capability amongst local policing officers will increase demand on SPA Forensic Services in terms of administration but samples from the initial incremental expansion will be sent to out-sourced partners for examination to mitigate risk of delays and threat to time-bar. Capacity from out-sourced partner has been secured.
