Implications detail
It is essential that our RDI strategy translates into real and measurable outcomes for safer communities and there are a range of implications associated with implementation.
Public trust and confidence issues along with admissibility in criminal justice are key challenges for fast paced adoption of innovation in forensic science. Assurance that equality, human rights, data and privacy considerations have been met must be provided throughout.
The health, safety and wellbeing of our people must be paramount as we consider innovative ways of working and it is critical that new techniques and technologies have been sufficiently tested prior to implementation.
