FS COS & Data Migration
The Forensic Services Core Operating System (FS COS) Project will deliver a fully integrated & future-proofed single operating system, the migration of all data for in-scope systems and the decommissioning of un-supported legacy systems as required.
- Appendix B contains the revised timeline for delivery of our full business case. The original timeline has been subject to replan following further consultation with our Police Scotland procurement and digital division colleagues on our procurement approach.
- Consolidation of functional and non-functional requirements for inclusion in the invitation to tender (ITT) is now complete and with our procurement colleagues for final sign off.
- Priority activity at present is finalisation of the procurement evaluation strategy, which ensures a fair and transparent methodology for all submissions and secures the highest quality product for Forensic Services, delivering the flexibility and future adaptability we require from our core operating solution.
