The Scottish Police Authority has considered your request under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act (FOISA).
The Authority can confirm that some information is held in relation to your request.
The Authority’s Remote Access/Working Security Policy and Procedure requires prior authorisation to take and use portable electronic work devices overseas.
The Authority includes SPA Corporate and Forensic Services. Information on authorisations for employees from March 2024 to July 2025 is provided below.

The Authority has a Board, made up of members who are publicly appointed by Scottish Ministers. Members are not employees but must adhere to the above policy and procedure if they require to use an SPA device for Authority business while overseas. To assist, information on authorisations for Members from March 2024 to July 2025 is provided below.
