Your request for information dated 22 April 2025 is copied below.
I would like to submit a freedom of information request in relation to a criminal matter. The incident took place on 21.11.2024 and the police incident number is [redacted].
The residential property at [redacted], was deliberately set on fire on 21.11.24 and then abandoned by the perpetrator. Several fire engines and police cars attended at the scene.
My request for information is as follows - Was the perpetrator charged with any offences in relation to the incident?
Was the case referred to the Procurator Fiscal by the police?
What was the decision taken by the Procurator Fiscal if so?
Was the perpetrator remanded in custody following the incident? If not, why not?
Were any bail conditions imposed on the perpetrator?
Has the perpetrator appeared in court in relation to the incident? If not, why not?
Why is the perpetrator now back living at the address after endangering the lives of his neighbours?
