Background

The Scottish Government is expected to announce its budget for the 2024-25 financial year on 19 December 2023. Parliamentary consideration and approval are anticipated by the end of February 2024.

Significant consideration has been given to policing’s requirements (revenue, capital and reform) for the financial year 2024-25.
