16 Days of Action
COSLA is proud to take part in the global 16 Days of Action Against Gender Based Violence Campaign running from 25th November to 10th December 2025.
This year, the UN’s global theme is Unite to End Digital Violence against All Women and Girls. Building on this, Scotland’s National Violence Against Women Strategic Network has chosen All Together to Prevent and End Violence Against Women and Girls as our national theme.
Together with the Scottish Government and key stakeholders, COSLA is supporting a rich and varied programme of events during these 16 Days, highlighting leadership and innovation across local authorities and multi-agency partnerships. This reminds us that progress is possible when we act collectively. This also offers us a platform to shine a light on the vital work being led by Local Authorities collaborating with strategic partners in our communities every day.
The 16 Days national calendar includes events taking place across Local Authority areas between 25th November – 10th December 2025.
