Police Scotland Officers Honoured
Two Police Scotland officers have been named in the Demise Honours list, published following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth.
Deputy Chief Constable Jane Connors QPM has been made a Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order (LVO) for services to the State Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II in her previous role as Deputy Assistant Commissioner, Metropolitan Police.
Superintendent Stewart Drummond has been made a member of the Royal Victorian Order (MVO), for his services to the State Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II whilst in his role as Head of Royalty and VIP Planning.
These awards recognise the dedication to public service to communities across the UK, a level of dedication that is reinforced by officers and staff throughout Police Scotland on a daily basis.
