Assistant Chief Constables

The Scottish Police Authority is recruiting for new Assistant Chief Constables to join Police Scotland - the second largest police service in the UK. 

The Authority is advertising for three exceptional police leaders to join Police Scotland's Executive team and support the Chief Constable to shape the next important phase of policing in Scotland.

Martyn Evans, Chair of the Scottish Police Authority, who will lead a panel to appoint the Assistant Chief Constable said:

“These are significant leadership roles in the second largest police force in the UK.

“As we look towards the next important part of our journey, we are looking for Assistant Chief Constables with commitment, energy, and ideas to support the Chief Constable.”

Applications for this position closed on Friday 19 April 2024. 

The Authority expects to announce successful candidates in late May 2024.
