Summary 2025-26
131 requests received, up 8, from 123 in 2024-25.
131 requests for information were received between April 2025 and March 2026. This is an increase from 123 received in 2024-25.
One request was for environmental information.
There was a 24% increase in requests that the Authority was required to consider in full. This is demonstrated by responses confirming no information held reducing from 65% in 2023-24 and 2024-25 to 41% in 2025-26.
7 requests for review received, down 1, from 8 in 2024-25.
Requesters who are unhappy with the Authority's response can ask the authority to review its decision.
Seven requests for review were received.
This is down one from eight received in 2024-25 and remains a relatively low proportion.
Six reviews upheld or partially upheld the original decision, and one decision was overturned. This indicates that original decisions are robust. Lessons learned are considered where applicable.
If requesters are still unhappy after the review stage, they can appeal to the Commissioner. No appeals were submitted to the Commissioner in 2025 26.

Compliance with the 20-day statutory timescale to respond remained consistent at 98%.
Non-compliance related to three responses, all of which required third party consultation.
