Request
On 2 March 2026 you made a request for information to the Scottish Police Authority regarding investigations into the 1994 murder of Shamsuddin Mahmood in Orkney.
In response to your request the Authority advised that information was held, but was exempt from disclosure, under Sections 34 and 35 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.
On 7 April 2026 you asked the Authority to review this decision.
