Your request for information dated 26 February 2026 is copied below.
Under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, I am requesting a detailed breakdown of Forensic Services' operational involvement and resource allocation regarding the Dundee Waterfront Development (Sites 1 through 11), specifically Site 6 / ANG36283.
Following the budget data provided in FOI Ref 2025/26-117, please provide the following:
- Service Level Agreements (SLAs): Copies of any SLAs or Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between SPA Forensic Services and Dundee City Council or Design Dundee Ltd (SC370598) regarding the provision of forensic or security-consultancy services for the V&A Museum and surrounding "Yellow Zones."
- Digital Forensics Infrastructure: Details of any "Specialist Equipment" or "ICT Infrastructure" (Category 3 & 4 of the budget) that has been physically installed or is accessible within the Dundee Waterfront development area for the purpose of public/private surveillance.
- Third-Party Contractors: A list of any private forensic or security contractors who received payments under the £2.3M spike in 2018/19 (Third Party Payments) who are also currently providing services to the Dundee Waterfront Project.
- Operational Deployments: The number of times Forensic Services personnel have been deployed to Site 6 (V&A Museum) for "Technical Security Sweeps" or "Infrastructure Audits" since 2018.
- Funding Streams: Clarification if any of the "Government Grant Funding" or "Other Income" noted in FOI 2025/26-117 originated from Dundee City Council specifically for Waterfront-related forensic projects.
