Alignment to risk register and risk appetite
Risk alignment
Health & Safety and Fire Non-Compliance – above appetite and tolerance
Officer/Staff Wellbeing - above appetite
The risks associated with not providing appropriate health, safety and wellbeing provision is threefold; there is a threat of legal non compliance, financial implications directly or indirectly and an employer's moral obligation to ensure that officer and staffs’ health, safety and wellbeing is at the forefront of all we do.
While there are no financial implications arising directly from this report, there will be a need for future investment to allow for the completion of audit recommendations, development of the findings from certificate of assurance and the further integration and mainstreaming of health, safety and wellbeing across the organisation in a meaningful way. The alternative is that we continue to sit above tolerance in terms of risk.
