Assistant Chief Constable sought to join Police Scotland
The deadline for applications has now passed.
The Scottish Police Authority (SPA) has today, Friday 22 March 2019, launched a recruitment campaign seeking an Assistant Chief Constable to join Police Scotland.
The UK-wide recruitment campaign will run until 15 April 2019 and it is expected the successful candidate will be announced by the SPA in May 2019.

The Scottish Police Authority (SPA) is seeking an Assistant Chief Constable to join Police Scotland, the second largest police service in the UK with a workforce of more than 22,000 police officers and staff, and a budget of more than £1 billion.
Established in 2013, Police Scotland is a vital national service that serves a population of more than five million people in cities and towns, and across rural and island communities. Its purpose is to improve the safety and wellbeing of people, places and communities across Scotland.
You will work in support of the Chief Constable to build on the proud history and achievements of Scotland’s police service and will play a major part in shaping the future of policing in Scotland.

You will be an accomplished senior police leader with significant operational experience, committed to the delivery of an innovative, effective and efficient policing service that keeps people safe.
