Police Scotland Chief Constable responds to increased UK threat level

At 2140 hours on Tuesday 23rd May 2017, following a meeting of COBR, the Prime Minister Theresa May announced that on advice from the Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre (JTAC), the UK threat level from International Terrorism was raised to ‘CRITICAL’ - meaning that an attack is expected imminently.
