The Scottish Police Authority is looking for an outstanding leader to join the Police Scotland executive team.

The DCC Crime and Operational Support post has overall responsibility for significant strategic priorities (led by three Assistant Chief Constables) in the following areas - Major Crime and Public Protection; Organised Crime and Counter Terrorism; Operational Support. 

Since its creation, Police Scotland has strengthened its capability and resilience and your role will ensure specialist services meet and adapt to ever-changing threats while operating seamlessly with local policing and its partners.

This post will be demanding and high profile. You will support the Chief Constable to deliver better outcomes for the people of Scotland, while ensuring the service is sustainable to meet complex challenges for the 21st century.
